A rare clip from 1967 with Joyce DeYoung who was LaVerne's replacement in the group. This appearance happened 6 months after LaVerne's death. transfered from an old VHS copy, the quality is grainy and parts cut out but it is still a good clip to watch.

Three Stooges Mastercard Commercial
They could have done and extended interview of just her.
Man, just a $10 copay for each injury? The stooges must have an incredible health plan.
Tenía 11años en 1965 y era mi favorita en la primaria 6°año junto con mi canción de beatles love me di
Did The Mamas & the Papas cover this song?
Yeh, she really looks like she's got wounds to bind alright
I remember watching the Hollywood Palace in the early 60s with my parents. I was 5 or 6, then.
Classy Fred Astaire intro to this great 60's song played live-great stuff!
Great sounds from the 60's past!
Bev and I would be looking pretty cool , cruising all about Claremont , on my Vespa. Smoking cloves, drinking cappuccino's. Anticipating the evening concert of The 3 O' Clock.
0:05-0:08 Is why I’m here, that moment lived rent free in my head since it aired on tv.
I've never heard this on solo guitar. I would like to learn it. Thanks for the nice playing.
list of the three stooges shorts in this commercial
This ad has always brought me great joy.
Love her dress, beautiful! ❤
Thanks for this. Just coincidence, but I was just wondering today if it was Ian Tyson who wrote his (and Slyvia's) song, Four Strong Winds ... or was that a fellow Canadian, Gordon Lightfoot. Seems to me it was Gordon.
Need to ditch this and play the real song!
Ampeg B-15 amplifiers. They were great.
Written by Sylvia of Ian and Sylvia.
Also covered by CHRISPIAN ST PETERS and THE FAMILY DOGG ( Not related to 😊)
I was 10 and always loved this song. Since I was probably listening on my transistor radio, I never knew until now that the lead singer was a female! 😂 Sounded Buddy Holly-esque to me.
🎉 2024 slaps!!! 🎉 Reminds Mafia 2
Written by the great Canadian of Ian and Sylvia folk rock group, Sylvia Tyson.
live performance
a great harmonic song well executed ,live ,,too bad they never took off
There were many, but this was one of my favorites when it played on the radio in 1965. I was 7 years old.
R.I.P. Bobby "Boris" Pickett! I haven't heard this "Oldies 103" version of this song in decades! I used to listen to 105.7 WROR, which used to play classic rock from the late '60s-'80s! But now, the station plays just '80s-early '00s, and I don't care about it anymore, since I've got my iPhone and can listen to a website, dedicated to Oldies 103, and its '50s-'70s format! No '80s allowed! in addition, I love to listen to JIB on the Web, a recreation of the old WJIB, FM 97, WMEX AM 1510, Swinging 105 and Sam Meyers' Classic Country! Plus, during the holiday season, My Christmas Station, which plays Christmas oldies and standards!
Nailed it. What a feeling that must be.
Love Bev- BTW she was with the Band for 4 years from 1965- 1969 then took a 40 year hiatus
Tu estás en mi mente todos los días ,,desde k amanece ❤❤❤😮😮😮
I was 13 in 1965, I latched on to that song and never forgot how great We Five were... WE HAD THE BEST MUSIC, 1960S, 1970S!
I was 13 also and agree, the best music
En hommage au debarqement❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
Superbes chansons de ces dames❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
So disrespectful of the original lyrics and melodies as written by Sylvia Fricker in 1961. This is mangled trash compared tp the original recording by Ian and Sylvia in 1963 (released 1964)..
I enjoy this style of music and I am 79. It was wonderful.
This is the best version yet!
❤❤❤
Did anyone else think that the guy with glasses reminded them of Chad Stuart❓🤔
Jeez and I thought that was Woody Allen! 🥸
@@executivesteps Yup INDEED 👍🏼😛
When they turned the CUTE METER on, Beverly went right off the Scale with it ❗❤❤❤🥰😋
Fred Astair. Great actor. Super Great Dancer.
This is the precursor to all the great psychedelic 60s music. Truly a classic
I dated Beverly's cousin in Glendora, California 1980s and we had some amazing nights eating pizza and playing 60s music. They were dear people to me. RIP Jerry
Fred should have danced.😂
A gigantic surprise when one flipped “You’ve got to hide your love away” over. Should have been saved for an A side follow-up.
Loving Bev Bivens in this performance 😊
There were a few key songs and groups that linked folk, rock and San Francisco psychedelia in 1965. This was one of them. We loved it then and now. You really had to be there as a young adult to get it.
❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
I like this live revved up version. GEAT!!!!!!!!!
From the silhouette I'd guess the drummer is Hal Blaine. Anyone know?
The drummer is John Chambers.
Beautiful beyond any words I can find ... t/y for this YT.
Here are 4 great songs sung by black artists: The Winstons: Color Him Father; Clarance Carter: Patches; The Cornelius Brothers & Sister Rose - Treat Her Like A Lady; The Drifters: up on the Roof. Enjoy!
